    Default Rubbing Alcohol

Don't get too worried I haven't fed this mixure to my bees yet:
Inorder to get essentail oil to mix thourowly with one quart of sugar water I found that adding one teaspoon of rubbing alcohol would work. Would this amount of rubbing alcohol hurt the bees in anyway?

Don't really know if it's going to hurt the bees, but humans better not drink it.

How about trying 200 proof whiskey?

Rubbing alcohol? I woudn't feed that to the bees as it's toxic. Lethicin, an emulsifier, will do the trick and is safe.

    Default Rubbing Alcohol

Isopropyl Alcohol should not be used. You can get grain alcohol from a
supply house or high end Liquor store. HoneyBHealthy, uses Sodium laureth sulfate
with is a surfactant to emulsify the compounds. Most vendors will use non-denatured
    ethyl alcohol ie vanilla.

To make things easy just buy some HoneyBHealth and use that as the helper.
