Have a question; I am thinking about moving one hive I have in an area that is now spent into some golden rod but I am uncertain as to how long it takes for them to get set up to start gathering nectar.
I have a couple of out yards further north (of the area I am considering leaving this one hive) where the blooms are still light and not fully out yet but the girls are really starting to bring in the nectar.
The location I have available to me is further south and the blooms are much more ahead, maybe by 10 days or so. Is it worth moving to this yard or do I look at just taking them further north to my out yards where the blooms are just starting?

The main question is; is it too late to move into an area if the blooms are already full out?
