Default Nectar and wax and bees oh my

Mine are on the fall flow apparently. Lots of new wax and nectar, lots of brood. Some is golden rod, but not all based on the smell. I'm not sure what else they are working. They are ignoring bottling buckets with honey remenants so they are on something.

Aster is out and big in the southeast about the same time as the GR. Maybe it's the same down your way???

I haven't seen the aster blooming on my place yet, but I see bees on the sweet clematis vines. There is probably aster somewhere around.

I've noticed the same thing. The bees never had a dull moment this summer, which is such a huge change from last year when it was hot, incredibly dry and seemed to last for decades! All the bees did last summer was haul water, beard up, and sulk.

Wait, did I say "this summer"? We didn't have a summer this year. It went from a long spring to an early Fall with hardly any transition.
