Default bees on bottom of brood nest

So I have a hive that was mauled by a bear 2 months ago. Been feeding syrup to help recovery, and they have recovered to 5 frames last week. Tonight I observer a handful of bees by the entrance and thousands of bees are under the frames. Is this swarming behavior? They are going through almost a quart of syrup a day, but they still had 5 frames to draw out. It was in the mid 50s F when I checked just the hive just now. Will be in the high 40s F overnight, will reach the 80s during the day.

Default Well, all looks fine in the morning

    Well,

In the morning, the bees are spread out all over the 6 frames they have drawn out, doing the usual daily foraging, and they are actively drawing out the other side of the 6th and the 7th comb and starting on the 8th and 9th in small numbers. Guess we are good.
