Big Grin Its better than I could have hoped!

Started my 2 hives this year (my first year to) 2 1/2 weeks ago I put 2 med supers on each hive. Checked my girls yesterday with the guy who got me into the bees and the supers are 80% drawn out and most is capped! My Beek buddy said that my hives are looking better than most of the other hives in the area and are the best first year hives he has seen! Now I.m waiting for another order of med frames and foundation to put 2 more supers per hive.
I guess now I need to get to thinking about an extractor and bottles and labels and marketing and, and, and....

My wife suggested the name "Dizzy Daddy Honey"
she calls her farmers market pie and baking bussiness "Dancing Daughters Bakery"

And to think, mom always told me getting hives was a bad thing!

Congratulations! Sounds like you're doing great. I'm in a buying mode right now too...enough so that my wife is starting to grumble. Don't you love this bee bug!!!!!

got the 2 new supers on both hives today. total of 4 on each hive now. DNAG those full supers on top are HEAVY!
gonna just let the girls take care of them now and hope for the best!
I've started thinking about an extractor of my own for next year, using my buddies this year. I might try to build one.
