Extra 1:1 Syrup uses?

So the bees are doing well, but I have an extra gallon or so of 1:1 syrup made. They aren't taking it as they did. What alternative uses is there for the syrup, or can it be froze for future use?

I've never tried it, but it seems reasonable that you could freeze it for later use. I freeze full frames of capped honey for use when starting a nuc or helping boost a hive with low stores in the spring.

Just make some fondant out of it and freeze that. It is simple really.
