May 11, 2010 Terre Haute, Indiana. Got the call at about noon. Basketball size swarm about 12' up in a redbud tree. owner said they had been there for 2 days.

one of my hives swarmed on 5/8 in brooklyn, ny 11231...got them back the next day..

Got a basketball sized swarm today. It was on the ground in a field of two-foot tall grass making capturing it a challenging three-hour process. I couldn't shake them into the box or scoop them up so I started picking as many up by hand as I could, but that was like herding cats. Then I lucked out and found the queen. Once she was inside I just sat back and watched them go in.

May 12th at 41091 Union Ky. ( Northern Ky. )
2nd swarm in 6 days. Got a call from a local hotel about a large swarm in a small tree. It was huge, the biggest one I have ever caught anyway.
Started hive #12 tonight. I had a great day !

How lucky can you be, another swarm call today. Left work early and got them. They had just left one tree went down the road about 200 yards and was able to find them. I started my 13th hive on May 13th, kind of odd.

I counted my days wrong on the other post. It has been 6 days now and I have caught 3 swarms. A great day.

may 14th 4:00 pm jackson ohio.45640 swarm came to some dead outs stacked in the yard and some 5 frame deep traps i had in the back of my pickup. had just got home from work 15 min earlier 1st swarm of the year.do not know where this swarm came from
