My hive swarmed last Saturday 5/12 in Pensacola fl. Very upsetting but don't think as many left as is usual. Then we cut out about 11 swarm cells. The next day we heard piping! Very interesting experience.

Just had a swarm take off this weekend 7-5-14. 33542 10:00 From one of my splits made in february. They settled on a branch in a large oak next door about 30 ft. up in the tree.
I have had two one last week and one today. Both were from my hives. One got away the other I got about half the bees uncertain on the queen. All I have read about them not aggressive and not stinging is totally BULL! Got about a dozen stings mostly through my shirt on my arms. Florida zip 32465
Caught a 5# swarm that had taken up residence in neighbor's bird feeder 7/9/2015.
