    Sorry for the silly title -- but it is somewhat apropos.

    Here is a pretty cool picture of a small feral swarm hanging from my TBH the morning after hiving. My top bars are just rectangular pieces of wood with two shallow grooves down the center. (I found the top bar design at Leonard G. Barton's site http://www.ccdemo.info/GardenBees/KTBH.html .) In this picture notice how the bees are lined up with their feet in one of the grooves. Up to their knees you might say [img]smile.gif[/img]
