I'm in NW Lower Michigan (directly on the 45th parallel). I ordered a 3lb package from a supplier in PA but later discovered their packages come from AL. Apparently it's been raining every day down there and they are way behind on there intended delivery dates. I did request my bees for the 2nd week of May (the date of our last frost) but now they are saying I won't get them until the 3rd week of May - at the earliest. We are having a cold, wet spring here too so it's holding back some of the bloom but I'm worried I may end up getting them too late. What do you think? Should I be concerned?

No don't worry about it. I am south of you near Toledo and I would not be afraid or worried to hive a package anytime in May this year. As you know it is pretty cool right now.
