    Well I have experienced my first flop in a TBH. It's been warming up (finally) up here in the mountains. Checked One of the TBHs and noticed a large comb crumpled on the bottom. Pretty messy but I cleaned it up.

    Ox;
    What are the dimensions of that hive? I have both Hardison and Crowder designs, and both are holding up well. The Crowder in particular has built full-scale comb all across the hive without any failures.

    The Hardison is building comb, but so far has not completed a single comb that goes all the way across the hive.

    Neither hive shows any signs of comb deformation. Both are in full sun until about 11:00 AM then are shaded until about 4:30 PM. Both have telescoping tops above the bars.
