I have three hives, #2 is booming 16 bars and working incredible activity at the entrance. 1 and 3 were slow to start but #3 has the same amount of activity now at 9 bars. #1 for the last week has one or two bees per min coming or going when I open it they are all clustered and hardly pay attention to me.
I stopped feeding syrup 7 days ago. We have had nothing but cold on and off rain all day and night for a week now.
My assumptions: they have eaten what they were storing and are probably out of food and soon to starve eventhough we are in a flow.
I put a large patty of bee food I got from a friend in the bottom, its a white paste ready to use. They sell this stuff at a local feed store.
Plan: continue to feed untill coomb building resumes.
Anything I'm missing or doing wrong? Help!

Hi Gary,
Keep them feed. That's about all you can do.
