I think I missed something. I have read on this forum that when useing small cell foundation, it is a good idea to trim the end bars down to 1.25". When I did this, I found that I will not have enough space between frames for the bees to get through. Did I miss a step? Should I have trimmed the top bars as well?
Any way, what I have done is to trim new frames down to 1.31" or 1 5//16". This gives me between 3/16" and 1/4" of bee room.
Did I screw up, or will this be ok?
