Recently, I created my new web page devoted to the Hogg cassettes:

Hi Boris.. I liked your "cooler" idea for nucs.. any pictures w/ details that show how the frames are hung.. entrance location.. etc?
Just don't get the nuc cooler mixed up w/ the beer cooler!

kensfarm,
1. I will add new photos and comments in one week, when I will open my new topic "Polystyrene Nucs and Mini-Mating Nucs "
2. I've just added new photos, related to this topic - Halfcomb Hogg's Cassettes.

Thanks Boris.. do you like the Hogg Cassettes better then the Bee-O-Pac System.. I'm running all Med. Supers & see that the Hogg system requires shallows.
Any place special you bought the coolers from.. Walmart, etc?.

Kensfarm,
HoggÂ’s cassettes are pre-waxed, while Bee-O-Pac frames are not. Since they are pre-waxed, I think that bees will draw combs more quickly on them. I hope to get a comparison this summer. If the Bee-O-Pac frames were pre-waxed, the two products would be almost identical.
Yesterday I bought additional coolers at Wall-Mart for $18.66 each ("Rubbermaid", 48 QT).
Boris
