I wish I had seen this the other day. I stopped by their shop in Woodland, CA and picked up a whole bunch of stuff. I would've bought several hive bodies too. Oh well, now I have a reason to go back again. (grin)

See I told ya! I was surprised when nobody took notice of my post! I am interested in these deeps too, but I guess the shipping will be quite a bit(they being assembled).
Alas my question remains unanswered.. Why are they cheap?![]()

Did I remember reading a post that bees did not care for treated material, because the smell. If not, has anyone used treated material and if so, how good was the results?
There's no place like 127.0.0.1
I just spoke to Mann Lake (Monday - 2/26) and they said that offer was from last December. They're not offering them now. Oh well. The preservative is a food grade product, that according the Mann Lake doesn't bother the bees. Sounded like they will sell them again, but I don't know what the price will be. This sounds like it was an off-season sale.
