    Question

what type of paint does everyone use? flat, semi gloss or high gloss paint. It seems that high gloss would give the best protection from the weather.

Anything that is good exterior paint. Mismatched colors, or whatever is the norm. I suppose I've usually bought gloss when I had the choice. But I don't think it matters.

I hit the jackpot on paint one time when Loews opened a new store close by. They had a lot of opps paint. $1 per gallon for $25 reg price paint. High gloss exterior paint works great. Three coats lasts forever.
