Friend of mine is quitting; he has a good old Kelley extractor, a stainless tank 2 frame reversible with a hand crank and expanded metal innards. He also has the stainless grocer's tank that holds about Seven & a half gallons, by my estimate--maybe ten gallons. The extractor nees to be disassembled and cleaned up, the grocer's tank is like new.

I have them to sell for him. Anyone have any idea of a fair price?

If it is in excellent condition, the rule of thumb is half of new retail. Less if I'm buying it

Cheap extractors are out there for maybe $100. A 5 gallon bottling bucket might be $20.

If you can't use them, consider ebay or befriending a new beekeeper in your area.

Joe sounds about right. Cant expect too much for them, but beginners tend to be nieve when buying for their bees, so you might get more if you ask more. But I hate people who do that,..

To figure out gallons of a square container inside measurements LxWxD divide by 231 for gallons. Hope that helps (used that formula when I had fish tanks).

    Thanks, Bullseye:
That's a starting point, will look them up in the Kelley book. This is good equipment, not junk, but I have more than I need so will sell them for my buddy.
