A beekeeping friend of mine picked me up an escape board, and I was wondering how long it usually takes for te bees to all get out of the honey super?

A lot depends on the temperature at night, the cooler the temperature the sooner they will leave. I find that on cool nights 24 hours does a nice job, but if the nights are warm it might take 48 hours.
Assuming it's a triangular style escape board in 24 hours most of them will be gone IF there is no brood in the supers. If there IS brood in the supers they will not leave. In 48 hours more will be gone, but if you put it on one evening and take the honey the next morning you'll find most leave overnight.
Of course you have to get it on the right way.
