Pure Bees Wax

My wife likes to hand dip candles, but I am concerned about the wax that she got over the net might not be 100% Bees Wax.
Is there a reasonable way to test for purity?

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I'm sure ABC XYZ of beekeeping has some melting points etc. that can be used to measure the purity.

I have been told that Vees wax will not show under a black lite don`t know if this is true or not but maby worth a try.
