    I have a smoker that looks like #751 of Brushy Mountain. I am ready to upgrade. Any recommedations? Preferences?

    A friend of mine has a toy like that one. I don't like it at all because it's hard to keep lit and the bellows seems real weak to me. Get a 4" x 10" smoker like the ones Kelly, Dadant, Rossman, etc sell. They are easier to light and once going, will last for a long time. Many of these are made of stainless steel and are pretty much bullet proof unless you back over it with your truck as I did with my first one.

    I use a Dadant stainless 10" with guard. As long as you keep it clean, it seems like it will last a long time. I use pine straw as smoke fuel.
