    Question

    -well i see i made and error on the topic title. Its supposed to be rite cell and wax foundation, sorry all-
    Ok i have just added rite cell foundation over a brood box with reguar wax foundations. is this going to be a problem mixing foundations like that. will the bees ignore it since they have regular foundation below them..also all of my honey supers are regular wax fondations so is this mixing going to be a prob...

    I've not had a problem as long as the box is all rite cell and that's all they have to work on besides the wax they already have drawn. If they have a choice between drawing wax and rite cell, they will draw wax. If they only have rite cell that needs to be drawn they will draw it if there is a flow on or you feed them.

    I would have to agree. I have mixed and mingled before, and if they need room, they will draw it.
