I have made prototypes of pallets for my "Beehive Truckbed". Realized I could make a screened bottom pallet just as easy as a solid bottom pallet. Anyone used a screened bottom pallet ? Any thoughts about drawbacks of a screened bottom pallet? My design allows me to close the bottom up tight if needed. One problem I see is that the forks of the forklift might poke through the screens. Might have to make a another prototype with a protective piece of plywood.
