Bees looking good

Hi everyone,About Jan 3 the bee inspector came and looked at my bees and said they looked great. He did do some mite checks and I did have some, but the counts were not high. I went to one bee yard this afternoon and put supers on getting ready for orange blossom. You could tell they are ready to go to work. I believe that this is the best my bees have looked at this time of the year. Im going to my other yard tomarrow to add supers, will let you know how they look. Take care JJ

Hi Ted, I havent seen hardly any this last year. I have been real lucky my hives have beeen strong all the winter months. (If you call this winter in Florida) I left a good supply of honey on top of them this year and I think it really helped. I think I lost 3 hives total. I only had to feed a couple hives.
