Timing of FGMO Applications

I have learned so much about this process to help with mites from everyone. Thanks Dr. Rodriguez for all your research and help.

My question is...I'm ready to at least start applying FGMO emusion cords but wondered if that is something that should wait until it's warmer and the bees are active.

Here in Central Ohio it's the dead of winter and quite cold...very little flying activity.

Bottom line question:
When it comes to FGMO applications...fogging and/or the cords...is now the time to start or wait until warmer weather.

I wouldn't open the hive to put in cords if they aren't flying.

Personally I wouldn't fog them if they aren't flying either. Winter is sleep time. Let them sleep.

Hello folks from a very cold central Spain. It has been unussually cold here this winter.
You may wonder why you have not seen messages from me in the forum. The reason is that even though I have been vaccinated, I got very ill as soon as I arrived in Spain. I have been bed ridden (not my best way to spend my time, I assure you!) for ten days. Thank the Good Lord, I was told by the doctor today that I am on the way to recovery. hip hip!
Bless all of you who follow my work and continue to trust FGMO. As usual, I shall be there for you as soon as The Lord restores my health and weather
permits. More new ideas to come this year! Keep your faith! God bless.

The cords are cotton cords soaked in an emulsion
made of FGMO, beeswax and honey. The bees try to remove the cords and in the process get the emulsion on them. It is a means of getting the FGMO on the bees.
