I'm fogging mine from the tube outside.
MR-Bee,
Does the fog collect on the glass?
Do you use cords?
My observation hive are all small cell bees and I fog from the tube. I do not use cords. It would be too much work to haul it outside all the time. No, it does not leave any residue. The fog doesn't really leave a residue at all that I can see. I think people picture a thick layer of FGMO over everything and really it's imperceptable.
Does the fog penetrate vents, cracks, etc.?
Why fog small-cell bees?
I just started regressing this spring so I was fogging until things got established. I'm still a bit paranoid about the mites.
Yes, the fog comes through the vents and cracks into the house. I try not to fog too much so there isn't much and I always warn the people in the living room.
