can one just use soaked chords or should I think about getting a foger?

It seems to me that I have answered this very same questions several times.
I´ll gladly repeat the answer, however, I would suggest that people would read the archives before asking questions.

The cords and the fogger are complementary to each other. Either one may work on its own merits.
The combination of emulsion soaked cords and fogger work best.
