I'm going to be moving back to the Hillsdale / Branch County area in the next few weeks. I plan to have cells / queens this summer. Where are you located? Queens are med. free and are reared only from hardy overwintered stock and feral colonies.
I have contacts with other queen rearing beekeepers in Isabella and Lapeer counties if that is any closer to you.
MSU has its Ag. and Natural Resources (ANR) meeting the first weekend in March. I am part of the planning committee and will have a booth set up for queen rearing with lots of neat stuff.
