    Question

I am looking into experimenting with raising queens on a small scale. I am wondering if anyone has experience with a graftless system such as Jenter or Cup-Kit. How successful are these systems and is one better than the other.

    Not really.

But if you are going to be grafting on a small scale and don't need many queens, the easiest way is the old pocket knife method, and just cut out the queen cells once made and capped in the colony you want queens from.

Then simply introduce them into the colonies you want, by making an indentation on the brood frame you want to place the queen cell on with your finger. Then place the queen cell into the indentation and secure bonding the wax with your fingers.

Want a little more advanced system reviewed, just ask.
