    hi,


    last years damage on one or two super frames this is the worst one do you think the bees could put this right or should i re-new with foundation,

    tony350i--if you have a strong hive the bees will clean it right up for you, my girls have cleaned up worse frames for me.

    You'll just need to make it up to them by making their next batch of sugar water extra sweet.

    I'd cut out the worst of the webbing and leave the rest for them to clean up.

    a friend down here using his compressor to blow out most of the webbing then puts them in for the bees to finish cleaning.

    I've put frames like that into the middle of a broodnest and 24 hours later, the webbing was hanging out of the entrance. The comb was perfectly clean. Within a short time, the queen laid it up, and by the time the brood was capped, it had been relaired immaculately.
