I am starting my second year as a beekeeper, I have been having very good luck with essential oils and I have decided to try thyme oil. Does anyone one know if there is a certain kind? I have found red or white thyme essential oil... this is what I was going to purchase -Thyme White Oil, Botanical Name - Thymus zygis.
Recently I made a beeswax, FGMO slurry with essential oils, it worked great. I used tea tree oil, wintergreen and lemon grass. By the way all last year (when needed) I fed them 1:1 with wintergreen and lemongrass.
Also I was wondering if anyone knows the ratio or mixture or just how much thyme oil to use to make it effective without choking my bees?
