4.9 cell size / SHB

has anyone any experience or insider report on the the relationship of the Small Hive Beetle and its effect or response to the 4.9 cellsize ? Does the SHB respect the smaller cellsize by avoiding them and seek food elsewhere ?

I have not heard that 4.9mm would help with small hive beetles and cannot think of any reason it would, other than stronger healthier bees (because of less mites etc.) might be able to defend themselves better. This is only an indirect result.
