Why these tiny swarms?

In the last week I've had 2 tiny swarms in my beeyard (baseball sized). And I found another this morning hanging onto the screening I put over a trap -out project I finished 2 weeks ago. Any ideas on what these little swarms are all about? With few or no drones around, what action should I take to keep a hive from dying out account no laying queen inside?

This time of year these are usually from overcrowding or from drought. Make sure they've got room and that there's a flow. You can feed if there's a flow and put supers on if they are out of room.
