I just about ready to add a super, should I continue to feed my bees sugar syrup?, or will the bees just fill my super up with it?
They are using about a quart of syrup every 3 days now.
Although nectar flows may be strong in most areas, If the frames in the supers you are adding need the foundation to be pulled out you should keep feeding. If you are using foundation that is already pulled out you do not need to keep feeding. The bees will use the best nectar source available to produce honey.
