I got a call from a lady who has a bee hive in an overgrown bush. She wants it removed. Any ideas how to proceed?
I was planning on putting on the suit, smoking the bush and cutting it out. Should I vacumn? If I get the Queen and the brood should the rest just come on over? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    YES

I would just try to get the box under the hive and shake, like a swarm. Once the bees and queen fall, then salvage what comb I could. I wouldn't use the vacuum.

I just did one like that in a willow tree last week, one of the coolest things I've done with bees.
