I checked the hives yesterday and I noticed up in the upper honey super that the bees had drawn out drone cells. What the heck is going on?

All I usually get is honey?????

Without being able to see the exact situation, I would say that they just needed space for drones. It is very common for bees to add drone cells at the bottom of the honey supers unless you are using a queen excluder.
    Nothing to be concerned about.

Are there drones in the cells or nothing or honey? They ofen draw that size cell for honey as well as drones.
