    When you guys get bees out of trees, do you ever use electric chainsaws(where applicable) instead of gas. It's a lot quieter than gas. I was wandering if it kept the bees a little calmer. you also don't have the fumes but you still have the vibration of the chain which is the main thing, i suppose, that upsets the bees the most.

    I have used my battery powered saws all to open the only removal from a downed tree. It was no worse than pulling the nails out of those oak board in that old house I did as to upsetting the bees. I actually think the speed of me getting into the log seemed to help over the long process of pulling the nails. The other removals I did from the old church had poplar siding so the nails pulled easy and did not upset the bees much at all.
