    Cool

You should not block off the hive entrance all the way. If you are using a Boardman Feeder, you should reduce the entrance to stop possible robbing of the hive. If you use a top feeder or feed from the top using a two or three gallon bucket that has screening on a two inch hole and is inverted on the inner cover (uses the vacuum principle), you will not need to reduce the entrance. Some believe you do not need to feed as long as there is a nectar flow on, but, if you do you feed the hive as long as they will take the nectar substitute. Just make sure that wax comb is being built out.
