To remove wax cappings in seconds I use a "hot air paint stripper pistol". But there should be between the honey in the hexagonals cells and the waxcappings a little bit of air ,it all depends the kind of bees you are keeping. If there is no layer of air it won't work.
I am only wondering if the hot air might not alternate the quality of the honey ,anyone who has experienced with this ?
It is a very fast way in removing cappings but you should have the kind of bees that produce the right kind of honeycombs for that kind of job.
