Different Bee Species in Bee Yard

Is it OK to have for example a hive of Italians next to a hive of Carnolians?
I have read that each species has their positive and negative attributes but are they compatibile with each other? WIll they fight, etc?

The Italians are more prone to robbing and drifting, but they rob and drift with Italians as much as Carnolians. I doesn't really matter unless you're trying to breed pure bees.

i've got hives of every major type of bees in the same yard,it's interesting to see the differences int their behavior.no noticable racial tensions.
