I have a 5 gallon pail of honey fram last year that has too high moisture content and has started to ferment. I believe it too far gone for sale or meadmaking. I plan to increase my hive numbers this year via splits and will have the new colonies on mostly undrawn foundation. I would hate to have to throw this honey out. I would like to feed this honey to them to help them get that foundation drawn. Can they handle the fermented honey? Do I dilute the honey with water? Could I use camden tablets in the syrup to stop the fementation if I add water?
