If I'm feeding honey, I always feed it straight. That way it doesn't spoil and the bees like it just as well if not better. They will draw comb faster on straight honey than watered down honey.
Whats the best way to feed honey ? I have the miller type top feeder, would honey work OK in it?
Hi,
Used to dilute honey adding 1/3 water. Now I almost always use it straight( no fermentation). Miller feeder will work fine as long as weather is good here in NY and bees can get up to it.

You can use any kind of feeder with honey. I've used a boardman on top of the inner cover, a Miller, a division board (with a #8 hardware cloth liner). They all work fine. Like any method, you want to prevent drowning. I'ts stickier so you they need the help even more.
