while we are on the subject of bee breeds does anybody out there have any knowlege /expereince with carniolians ??

I have raised all breeds,it is a personal selection of the keeper=best thing is to just try them see for your self.
if you have bees already you can just buy a queen then the genes will change to what you put in the hive.

Hi Zeke, I have had New World Carniolans for the last several years. I dearly love them. They do require a little different management. They are good producers and a very gentle bee.
