I talked to Strachan today to order 12 NWC for next May. It sounded like they were just about sold out for April and May. I ended up settling for a last week of April Thursday shipment. Here's to hoping UPS truly does next day delivery! Oh yes, prices are up.

The link you provided is to a web site for package prices. My order from Strachan was queens only. I am not aware of them selling packages. At qty 12, marked queens are $18.40 and UPS overnight shipping is $26. I've had good experiences with Strachan in years past. The distance from California to Maine makes paying the extra $ for UPS overnight worthwhile. Priority USPS just takes too long.

I have had good luck with Strachan their queens are of good quality and they seem to arrive quicker than queens I have ordered form R. Weaver, I don’t think the problem lies with the Weaver’s. I will use two of the Strachan queens for breeders next spring.
