    Getting emails asking about me.

I have been moving back to the city house. We didn't sell it before I decided to come back here. Hives are still at the farm near the lake...

    A new development.

My adult son who is in a wheelchair, has moved back into the city house with me. He is a 24 hour supervised care situation. He has been exploited by the Johnson County Ks, Mental Health Department for the last two years. The cards fell and his lawyer asked me if I could get him moved out of his apartment this past weekend. Thus the rest of the story.....

Between managing a sandwich shop and taking over my son's business again, I have precious little free time. I slam on supers, and do short inspections, these days. LOL

But I walk a magical path. The Lord and Lady are managing my Walk very Well. Life is an Incredible Adventure. I love it...

Have a Wonderful Beekeeping Season. Expecting abundant honey for most parts, this year.

    Love and Light

    I have a question????

Why would a Rod and a Staff be comforting?

Lean on His staff; use the Rod for what you need for satisifaction.

Take care in your time of trouble Daisy. Your bees will tend themselves, you will be pleasantly suprised at how well they did without your constant proding anyway.

You seem to be quoting Psalm 23:

    "...Thy rod and Thy staff,
    they comfort me..."

The reference here requires some knowledge
of shepherding in the days before border
collies. Shepherds carried a rod (a stick
about 3 feet long, often with a knob on one
end) and a staff (traditional shepherd's crook).

The allusion here is that God is acting as
the shepherd, is concerned, and is watching
over those of us "in the flock". He has tools
to defend the herd, and keep the herd together.

    Other interesting Bible trivia:

    1) Computers were used in the Old Testament!
    (Eve had an Apple)

    2) Motorcycles were used in the Old Testament,
    and they had loud pipes!
(The sound of David's Triumph was heard
    throughout the land...)

    3) Peter was the shortest of the disciples
(He was even able to sleep on his watch)

    4) The Apostles drove a Honda around between towns.
("They were all in one Accord...")

    5) But God had a Plymouth
("God drove Adam and Eve out in a Fury.")

I could go on and on...

    Yep.

The shepherds crook was used to haul sheep out of mud and other dangerous situations, and the rod was used like a medieval quarterstaff to defend the flock.

    Daisy,
My husband is a rabid reader of The Bee Forum and generally shares your posts with me. With this post, revealing your trials, tribulations, and path, I feel I must respond. I, too, walk a Magikal path. I know you will face it all with a smile in your heart. Your bees will very well as they understand on a spiritual level. You will be in my thoughts! May the Lord and Lady keep you close---
