    I would like to see a list of everything people have said KILLS mites but NOT the bees. Controles mites and or Eliminates mites. I imagen the list would go on and on.

    Actually around a 100 chemicals have shown some varroa knock down and are listed in the 1988 publication "The Varroa Handbook".
    The top four have been the most used by the worlds beekeepers. To my knowledge no new chemicals have been added.
    Only Fluvalinate, Amatraz and coumaphos provided a 98% control during testing.

    As Walt says a list of all the other methods tried would be long and interesting.

    From the start a varroa tolerant bee was the answer! Then we can forget all the chemicals and IPM measures and beekeeping can get back to the way it was before mites. We can then start a serious effort to bring back the feral colonies!

    Hi everyone, Was just looking through the Bee Culture and I think the devise is called the Cyclone. It says to use vingerar in it. Take care JJ
