I am adding some nucs to my bee yard.. I currently have 5 full hives and 3 nucs. I never thought much about it, but there isn't a problem with mixing nucs/main hives in the same yard? Except my own stupidity, I haven't seen and robbing/etc. of the nucs.

Shouldn't be a problem. If you're nervous make sure the entrances on the nucs are mostly closed. As long as their are nectar & pollen resources enough to support 8 hives you'll be fine.

I've had 11 hives and 3 nucs in my yard for a couple of weeks and have observed no problems with robbing so far. All are building up and bringing in pollen and nectar.
