I want to fix foundations to new frames. I used wires for this purpose.
Does it make any difference if the foundation is firmly straight or if it is slightly corrugated?
I appreciate if someone knows could advise.

Saeed,
Your foundation should be as straight as possible. Perhaps your wires are not tight enough?
You could also take some of the comb from the bird house and tie it to frames with cotton string. That way you utilize the comb the bees have already made.
To do this take a piece of comb and lay a frame over it. Then begin in one corner of the frame and wrap the comb into the frame with the string. (the bees will glue the comb into the frame and remove the cotton string).
Hope this helps. Wish I were closer to lend you a hand but we seem to be separated by quite a few miles.![]()
Hi;
Thanks for yor reply , I likd your idea , however , how to move the bees from the birdhouse to the new hive. Moreover , during the comp transfer operation , where the bees would wait?
