A friend of mine just called to ask me if I could remove a feral hive from a juniper tree on his property. He doesn't want the tree cut down. Does anybody know of a way to remove these bees without cutting down the tree? Just leaving the hive is probably not a good option because it's right by a work area where he runs gas motors loudly and often.
Search (using the search button above) on "cone method" or "feral bees" and you'll find hundreds (literally) of discussions on this topic. The cone method is the only way I know of without cutting down the tree.
