I do not know how to post them(never had one to post) but your scanner will work. For posting it may have to be in a certain format. jpeg is the most common when sending photos to family and friends. When you scan a photo it will normally ask in some way how you want to save it to your computer.
My scranner (free) is very old, maybe older than my 486 PC. Its hand-held, and will scan an image about 4" wide and as long as you want (or have memory to hold it). It stores files in "tif" format. I think I can convert to them to "paintbrush" files, too.
Can I take a "tif" file from my hard drive, and insert it in a message?
Do I have to "set them up" in "my" own web-site first?
