How do you know when to stop feeding the bees in the spring? First year for me.

I stop feeding mine when I put Supers on. I don't know if this is correct, but you don't want the bees to put sugar sryup in the super.
Sorry about the first reply, didn't realize it was your first year.
In that case I fed mine from april 15 ( when I hived the bees)thru sept 1 they had drawn out 2 brood chambers each full.
Thanks for the reply. Should I wait until there are two full brood Chambers? Did the bees have any honey stored in with the brood?

Some beekeepers say as long as the bees are drawing out comb to keep feeding, that's fine it just depends on if there is any natural nectar available. I just stop when I put supers on. And yes, the Top 3rd of some frames were capped with honey in both brood chambers.
